Magic Spider - My Pet Boris App Reviews

Everyone, lets think logically here: how could an iPhone make a spider appear on the back of someones hand? Answer: it cant. This app was (and still is) intended for magicians/magic enthusiasts... The props required to perform the effect are owned by most magicians because of an old card trick on the market, however you have the ability to purchase the props within the app... Anyways, unless the app keeps crashing when you try to open it, dont leave bad reviews just because you dont have everything available!

Wow ! The web was already brilliant, but that version gives it a modern day twist. And its no more a card trick. I highly recommend it to any worker !

Like with all magic My Pet Boris requires great performance and a couple slights of hand and iPhone to really make it work. I am am not a pro but am still deeply enjoying the practice on family, and soon will be sharing with random folks as I ask "Hey have you seen a cool Apps lately?" followed by "Would you like to see a fun augmented reality App?"

I am a professional magician. I would like to say, that after 30 years in the business, Ive seen it all.I have spent hours and hours learning manipulation, and illusions, only to see them garner moderate appreciation. What has always amazed ME, was that a simple illusion could sometimes evoke incredible responses in people! This is that kind of trick. I will get so much mileage from this illusion, and will be using it for years to come. That is because I am a pro. I know what will work and what will not work. This works. Best $2.99 I have ever spent on a trick. I paid the extra 2.99 for the butterfly. Why? Because i am a pro. I know that if I did Boris with a little girl, it would not be very nice. But she would love the butterfly. I am telling you the truth….this is the finest piece of work I have seen in a very long time. No one has accomplished designing an app for the iPhone to be used in professional magic….until now. Well done! I am telling all my friends about this. Well…maybe not the ones I want to scare first! THANK YOU IAN!!!!! Ps: the update is incredible!

This app is horrible.. Dont read the review below its probably the owner of the game .. Im telling u its bad. I wanted to rate this with a 1 star but it didnt allow me .. Only allows 5 stars.

Works well, just make sure your camera is turned on in privacy settings set to magic spider

one thing, though: could you please update the graphic of the setting page? it kinda feel out of the place on the new ios aside from this minor caveat, it’s perfect! PS: I second the other guy’s review. A background music like the one in the video would be perfect!

Finally here for the iphone! I have been wanting this one for awhile and its definitely worth it!

Takes a few minutes to practice and have a astonishing effect.

I love this App!!! As a professional performer I do not include it in my set because the reaction is over the top and I often feel bad startling a spectator to that extent. However, in the proper setting this is one of the funnest effects I have ever performed. The reactions are priceless and highlight reel worthy!!!

Didnt mention that you need a physical spider or roach to stick to their hand

Packs small, and plays huge! All you need is your phone and a plastic spider! That’s it. Just go on YouTube to see all of the great reactions. When people see that on the back of their hand, they flip out! The 2.0 version has a selected card with it as well, which just enhances the whole performance. A no-brainer purchase for the walk around magician!

I am an award wining magician and I always have this ready to use. Everyone loves the reactions you will see. Order extra props through the app.

Its one of those things that seems great at first, but isnt. Should be free.
